BreakOut West is coming to town, so we’re kicking things off with a night dedicated to some of Victoria’s own talented musicians.

BreakOut the Locals brings four local bands to The Open Studios for four 30-minute sets. It's a sampler of the creative music being made right here in Victoria.

6:15 PM — Zoubi and The Sea
Soulful Folk Rock - Zoubi and The Sea blend grooves and poignant lyrics into a sound that’s playful, expressive and unmistakably their own.

7:00 PM — Door D’Or
Atmospheric Melodic Grunge. Door D’Or brings textured guitars, raw energy and a heavy, immersive sound built for the live stage. Fresh off their new album release the band has hinted at presenting some fresh new material!

7:45 PM — 3 Sailing Wait
Gritty Blues rock - Big guitars, driving rhythms and a rock backbone give 3 Sailing Wait a powerful, kick ass live sound.

8:30 PM — Apex Breaks
Psychedelic Jungle Funk - A high-energy 9-piece combo that blends deep grooves of psychedelic rock, drum and bass, classic funk and powerful vocals into a dance-floor-electrifying live show.
